Founder and CEO

Seun has over 15 years of international business management experience. Having lived in over 6 countries across 4 continents, founded SOUK Farms as an impact venture to empower and enrich rural communities in Rwanda through agriculture.

As the Founder and CEO of SOUK Farms, Seun is driving Rwanda’s transformation into a global agricultural powerhouse, exporting high-quality horticultural produce to Europe and the Middle East. His leadership focuses on sustainable growth, market expansion, and empowering over 1,200 smallholder farmers across Rwanda.

Jean Phillipe Prosper

Board Chairman

Jean Philippe Prosper is an Independent Director on the boards of various companies. Until the end of 2015, Prosper was Vice President for Global Services at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group.

In that capacity, he co-led all of IFC’s investment operations (totaling around $20 billion a year), and advisory services, managing more than 2,400 staff. He also supervised a portfolio of more than $70 billion.

Ugochukwu Ozemela

Co-founder and Board Member

Ugochukwu Ozemela, is a seasoned Petroleum Engineer with over 13 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector, mainly focused on providing technical solutions for the effective management of oil and gas facilities in the upstream sector.

In addition to his achievements with Shell International, Ugo is the Vice Chairman of Pamela Eze Global Foundation (PEGF), a nongovernmental organization focused on making comprehensive eye care and training solutions accessible to all people in the society, a Non-Executive Director of Sahel Telecoms Limited and a board member of DIMA consults.

Lilian Onyando

Board Member

Lilian is an Associate Partner at Goodwell Investments, an experienced investment professional with a diverse portfolio spanning agriculture, forestry, renewable energy, technology, real estate, and financial services throughout sub-Saharan Africa.

Her unwavering passion lies in financing and empowering business across the region to foster sustainable development.

Brian Muriuki

Board Member

Brian Muriuki , is an energy and oil and gas executive with over 15 years’ experience leading global and joint venture businesses. His career has spanned various areas including Venture Management, Government Advisory, Field Operations, Commercial, Economics, Strategy, and Corporate Planning in West and East Africa, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and Norway.

He currently provides governance in various entities including the Skills for Oil and Gas Africa (SOGA) Steering Board, Board Director – British Chamber of Commerce Kenya, Advisory Board Member – Open for Business, Board Member – Daraja Kenya Initiative, and Board Chair – Koncepts & Events Ltd.

Judith Ongonyo

Board Member

Judith, a seasoned Investment Manager in the Venture Capital sector, brings a wealth of experience as a Credit and Finance Analyst within the Finance and Insurance industry. Her adeptness at recognizing emerging opportunities and her dedication to nurturing promising startups make her an invaluable asset in driving success within the vibrant realm of entrepreneurship.

Judith’s professional qualifications also include being a Certified Public Accountant, further enhancing her financial acumen and leadership capabilities.
